Echoes of Obsidian Strip It All Back on Their New Acoustic Album Uncarved Obsidian
Alternative metal outfit Echoes of Obsidian are trading distortion for delicacy this winter with the announcement of their debut acoustic record, Uncarved Obsidian, arriving 26th November 2025.
Known for their dark, atmospheric take on metal, Echoes of Obsidian are reimagining their sound in its most vulnerable form. Crafted over months of careful recording and reflection, the album captures Echoes of Obsidian’s haunting energy through an acoustic lens, swapping thunderous riffs for shadowed melodies, and amplifiers for atmosphere.
To celebrate the release, the band will bring Uncarved Obsidian to life in a handful of special, intimate shows to close out the year - beginning with the album launch at HMV Meadowhall on release day.
