Firmament Return with New Single "New Tomorrow"

Firmament are back and they’re making noise in all the right ways. Released September 19th, 2025, New Tomorrow is the explosive new single from the Nottingham-based quintet, now available on all major streaming platforms.

Following the momentum of their debut single Avatar in 2024, New Tomorrow sees the band step further into their identity, fusing crushing modern production with a reverence for classic metal roots. For fans of Iron Maiden, Alter Bridge, Mastodon, and Coheed and Cambria, this one hits hard.

Lyrically, New Tomorrow is a fierce declaration of defiance and rebirth, an anthem for anyone who's been betrayed by someone they once called a friend. The track explores themes of manipulation and betrayal, using the metaphor of a pawn in a chess game to illustrate the emotional toll of being used and discarded. But this isn’t a track about defeat, it’s about rising, fighting back, and reclaiming your power.

The five-piece brings together a blend of influences across rock and metal, combining big riffs, twin guitar harmonies, and melodic vocals to create a modern metal sound that hits hard both live and in the studio.
