Adele De'Ath Releases New Single “Razorwings”

Adele De'Ath has released her new single Razorwings, available now following its release on 14 August 2026.
The Sheffield-based solo artist and vocalist in Echoes of Obsidian draws directly on deeply personal experiences for the track, addressing the child abuse she experienced and the resulting self-harm she experienced during her teenage years and young adulthood.
For Adele, putting these experiences into songwriting is also part of a wider conversation around difficult subjects that can remain taboo. She explains that she feels much better now, and believes that talking more openly about difficult experiences can help make them less taboo and enable people to better support one another.
The lyrics to Razorwings follow that journey through direct, personal storytelling, while returning to the song's central image of "Razorwings" and the scars left behind by past experiences.
The track features music by Adele Smith and Chris Heald, with lyrics by Adele Smith. Pre-production and recording were handled by Tiberius Audio, with Sonitus Studios credited as producer.
