Finnish symphonic metal band AMBERIAN DAWN return with their new album Temptation’s Gates, introducing new vocalist Nicole Willerton and embracing a more modern direction.

Finnish symphonic metal band AMBERIAN DAWN have released their new album, Temptation’s Gates, via Napalm Records. Released June 26, 2026, the record marks the band's first release with new vocalist Nicole Willerton and opens a new chapter for the Finnish five-piece.

Led by founder, guitarist and main composer Tuomas Seppälä, AMBERIAN DAWN combine epic keyboard sounds with guitar-driven melodic metal throughout the new album. According to the band's press material, Temptation’s Gates takes the group onto a more modern and occasionally surprisingly rough path while retaining their catchy, melodic approach.

The album introduces Willerton on its title track, “Temptation’s Gates,” which arrives with fast-paced energy, epic keyboards and storytelling. “The Vision Of Dreaming” follows with a prominent riff, while “Moon” pushes the intensity further with blast-beat-driven sections and an unexpected ending.

A particularly significant moment comes with “Unchained,” where Willerton contrasts her seraphic vocals with powerful growls - a first for AMBERIAN DAWN.

The album continues with “Eternal Flame” and “Life Is Art,” described as epic hymns featuring guitar work, before “This Night Is Waiting for Me” brings a modern sound together with a dark metal atmosphere.

“Undying Colours” takes a more ballad-oriented approach, while “The Garden” continues the album's dreamlike atmosphere. Closing track “Phantasmagoria” finishes the record with a danceable approach to modern symphonic metal.
